DAR MIDA is a hidden treasure offering spectacular breath taking views overlooking Mida Creek (Indian ocean) in Watamu, KENYA. Very private and exclusive with its own charm and character.

Dar Mida is a 3 storey house (i.e.. ground floor, first floor and roof top bar/dining area) with a mixture of Swahili - Morrocan style, tastefully designed and decorated with unique pieces of furniture from around the African Continent.

MEALS: Self Catering

THEME: Ideal for families, small private groups, writers, Honeymooners, people learning to scuba dive and anybody who needs to escape from the stress of city life.

FANS: We have stand fans in all rooms & ceiling fans too. Also a ceiling fan over downstairs dining table (the rectangular table that seats 6 comfortably)

ELECTRICITY: In the case of blackouts, we have a 6 kva generator and a mains inverter.

BATHROOMS & AMENITIES: The two downstairs bedrooms are en suite with shower and toilet. There are two bedrooms on first floor has a toilet and hand basin. The other bedroom has an en suite bathroom. Upstairs roof top bar/dining there is a toilet and basin.

There is one outdoor shower by the swimming pool.

If families bring small children, we provide mattresses for the floor and a mosquito net can be hooked to the ceiling.

There is NO TV

There are 4 sun beds around pool area, a round table with umbrella and chairs where meals can be enjoyed.
